Our Story

It started with a throw pillow we never made.

SL2 was created by people who know the design business from the inside: the late freight, the damaged pieces, the showroom that doesn't respect your time. We built the resource we always wanted, and we built it for you.

SL2 Studios began when our drapery maker encouraged us to sell decorative throw pillows. We never made a single one. Instead, we built a fabric and wallpaper sample library and opened it to designers. Designers kept coming, vendors began asking us to carry their lines, and a trade showroom took shape around the lines designers wanted most, at pricing that works for their business.

We made it a showroom designers want to spend time in: good light, a quiet place to think and a comfortable room to bring a client. There's a private conference room for client meetings, lines like Chaddock, Hooker and Four Hands to sit-test, outdoor lines from Cabana Coast, Summer Classics and Sunset West, and a team that will pull your selections before you arrive.

As designers trusted us with their selections, they asked us to handle what came next: receiving freight, protecting it and getting it into their clients' homes. That became SL2 Designer Services, with a dedicated warehouse, a trained installation crew and a delivery operation serving the Southeast.
