Receiving warehouse FAQ
What is a receiving warehouse for interior designers?
A receiving warehouse accepts furniture and décor shipped from vendors on a designer's behalf, inspects each piece, stores it until the home is ready, then delivers and installs it. SL2 provides this service, trade only, from Greenville, SC.
Where do you deliver?
From our Greenville, SC warehouse we serve designers across the Southeast, including the Upstate, lake and mountain communities, and western North Carolina. Ask us about your project's location.
What happens when a piece arrives damaged?
We inspect and photograph every item on arrival and send you a condition report, so damage is documented before it ever reaches your client's home.
Do you work with out-of-state designers?
Yes. Ship to SL2 and we receive, store, deliver and install on your behalf for projects in our service area.
Do you test lighting and electrical items?
We inspect interior lighting on arrival. We do not routinely unpack exterior lighting, fans or gas fixtures, and we do not test electrical or gas components. Exterior lighting inspection is available on request.
What are your warehouse hours?
Monday–Thursday 9am–3pm and Friday 9am–12pm. After-hours receiving and pickups by appointment.
